Church is meant to be more than a spectator sport. It’s not about showing up on Sunday morning, enduring the service, tossing a buck in the Agape box, and heading out with a sigh of relief that we’ve done our duty. It’s about being part of a family where people are living out authentic relationships with God and each other.
Finding your place in a congregation can seem a little daunting. So we’re here to help you find your way—not just to the restroom or a seat in the chapel, but to your place in our church family.
CONNECT Connecting is all about relationships... with God and one another. As you begin your journey, @ Calvary Chapel Grants Pass, we encourage you to make that first “connecting” step by attending any one of our three Sunday worship services to see if Calvary Chapel Grants Pass Church is a good fit for you & your family. Wednesdays at CCGP we offer something for everyone—children, youth and adults. The focused prayer starts @ 6:30pm but the River run Café opens at 6:00pm and serves up freshly prepared beverages, and a chance to make new friends.
GROW Once you find that Calvary Chapel Grants Pass is a good fit, you’re ready to go deeper. We believe that spiritual growth happens best in connection with others. That’s where our House 2 House Ministry comes in. We also have men’s groups, and women’s groups, groups for singles and couples. We have groups with older folks and younger folks, and new groups forming all the time.
SERVE Journeying with Christ is more than connecting and growing. We believe we’re called to reach our church family, our community, and the world with the love of Christ. These tangible expressions of God’s love are seen in those who roll up their sleeves and serve.
Small groups are encouraged to identify one place of service inside the church and one place outside the church. Small groups might raise money for missions or find a community project to get involved in; they might volunteer through the Manna Ministry, or help prepare communion. Some venture to exciting destinations through the World Wide Ministry affiliations, or just by connecting with one another. The opportunities to serve are only limited, by the imagination of the believer.

Cleaning & Church Maintenance
The purpose of the Calvary Chapel Grants Pass cleaning ministry is to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of all indoor areas (chapel/bookstore, classrooms, foyer, halls, cafe and restrooms) of the church. By keeping a well maintained and clean worship environment, CCGP avoids the cost of hiring a cleaning service.
