Greeters, Hospitality & Ambassadors

Whether they are labeled deacons, deaconesses, greeters, or anything else, the New Testament model of hospitality proactively reaches out to meet the spiritual, mental and physical needs in the body of Christ and in the world. The Hospitality Ministry here @ CCGP spans the gamut from greeting (making guests feel comfortable and welcome), to ushering (ministering to everyone's needs during services), to visiting/ministering to the sick, to providing meals for those needing temporary assistance, to aiding assimilation of new believers/members into the body.

The Hospitality Ministry greets worshippers and escorts them to their seats. They distribute materials and help to facilitate the flow of services and meetings. As Ambassadors to the body, they always seek to remember that he or she is working for no one, but the one true GOD! Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than dwell in the tents of the wicked. Psalms 84:10.
